Say goodbye to adhesive buildup with Schmetz’s innovative Super Universal Needles.

Perfect for use with self-adhesive embroidery backings, spray adhesives, and hook-and-loop fasteners.  These needles feature an ultra-smooth non-stick coating made from nickel-phosphorus PTFE (NIT).  This advanced coating minimizes adhesive residue, preventing needle sticking and significantly reducing thread breakage.

The Super Universal Needle also has a larger eye, designed for smooth embroidery work. Each needle’s eye is comparable to that of a needle two sizes thicker giving the NM 70 needle, for example, an eye similar to an NM 90. This feature makes threading easier and allows for improved thread flow.

Engineered with a specially designed scarf and eye section to minimize skipped stitches, and a slightly rounded point for compatibility with a wide range of fabrics, this needle can handle delicate materials and heavy fabrics like denim with ease. Its reinforced conical blade ensures strength and durability, making it ideal for all types of sewing projects.
